A number of fish were exposed to 0.1 and 1 mg/l of the test substance solutions for 6 weeks - Reference substance (positive control):
- not specified
- Details on estimation of bioconcentration:
- All measured values were lower than the detection limit, so a BCF could not be determined experimentally. Therefore, BCF values were calculated based on the limit of the detection of HPLC, 0.3 and 3 for 0.1 mg/l and 1mg/l of test concentrations, respectively.

- Details on results:
- All measured values were below the detection limit. Therefore, BCF values were calculated based on the limit of the detection of HPLC, 0.3 and 3 for 0.1 mg/l and 1mg/l of test concentrations, respectively
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- not specified
- Conclusions:
- All measured values were lower than the detection limit. BCF values were, therefore, calculated based on the limit of the detection of HPLC, 0.3 and 3 for 0.1 mg/l and 1mg/l of test concentrations, respectively.
- Executive summary:
A number of fish were exposed to 0.1 and 1 mg/l of the test substance solutions for 6 weeks.
All concentrations were below the detection limit. Therefore, BCF values were calculated based on the limit of the detection of HPLC; 0.3 and 3 for 0.1 mg/l and 1mg/l of test concentrations, respectively.
In conclusion, the test substance is not bioaccumulative in fish.

Description of key information
In a reliable study according to OECD 305, BCF values were calculated based on the limit of the detection of HPLC; for 0.1 mg/L test concentration a BCF of 0.3 and for 1 mg/L a BCF of 3 were calculated, respectively.
In a supporting study, a calculated BCD of 3.2 was derives by EpiSuite (BCFWIN v 2.15).
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- BCF (aquatic species):
- 3 L/kg ww
Additional information
BCF was calculated by EpiSuite.
