Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and
sulphur oxides together with some hydrogen bromide gas and
soot. Suitable extinguishing agents are water mist, foam,
dry powder and carbon dioxide [UK c.a.: A self-contained
breathing apparatus may be required]

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Powder: Sweep up and dispose of by incineration or at an
approved landfill site Solutions: Absorb using suitable
material and dispose of by incineration or at an approved
landfill site

Handling and storage

Handling: Minimise exposure by use of standard occupational hygiene
procedures and good housekeeping.Eye/face protection, head
covering and gloves should be used. Avoid dust formation.
If dust is formed, take suitable precautions to avoid

extraction systems and if necessary a dust mask]

Stability and reactivity

Danger other than fire: Reactive dyes have been known to cause respiratory
sensitisation. Avoid dust inhalation. If sensitisation is
observed, remove the person from contact with the substance
