Additional information

Assessment is based on the lowest critical effect value of 100 mg/L as determined in algae. For determination of the aquatic PNECs, the assessment factors from the ECHA guidance document R.10 were used. The PNECs for freswater and marine sediments and for soil were calculated by means of the Equilibrium Partitioning Method (EPM) via EUSES 2.1. In these calculations the logKow value was determined to be < -1 (EUSES minimum value) and the vapour pressure was set at 1E-06 Pa (EUSES minimum value).

Conclusion on classification

Based on all available data for fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae, the test substance needs not to be classified according to Directive 67/548/EEC - Classification, Packaging and Labelling of Dangerous Substances or according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP))
