Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish was determined in a GLP-compliant test according to the OECD Guideline 203 (RCC, 1995). In this study, zebrafish (B. rerio; 10 per concentration) were exposed to nominal concentrations of 0, 562 and 1000 mg /L for 96 hours under static conditions. Measured concentrations ranged from 98.8% to 105.9% of nominal at the start (hour-0) of the test and from 105.8-113.7% of nominal at the end (hour-96) of the test. During the test no abnormal responses in fish were observed and no deaths occurred. Based on these findings the 96h LC50 value was determined at >1000 mg/L.
