Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to aquatic invertebrates was determined in a GLP-compliant test according to OECD 202 (RCC, 1995). In this study, Dapnia magna (4 replicates of 5 daphnids each) were exposed to a nominal concentration of 1000 mg/L of the test substance for 48 hours (static) and a control. Analytically determined test item concentrations in the test medium ranged from 138% at the start (hour-0) of the test to 145% of nominal at the end (hour-48) of the test. No effect on mobility of Daphnia was noted throughout the test. Therefore, the 48 -h EC50 value was determined at >1000 mg/L.
