Conclusions:
The determination of the boiling point was performed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.2 ''Boiling Temperature'' (May 2008) and OECD Guideline No 103 ''Boiling Point'' (July 1995).
The boiling range of 3,7-DIMETHYLOCTA-1,6-DIENE (batch FAB-11022018) should be stated at (160.0 - 167.6 +/- 0.1)°C or (433.1 - 440.8 +/- 0.3)K at 1013.25 hPa.
Executive summary:

The purpose of the study was to determine the boiling point of substance 3,7-DIMETHYLOCTA-1,6 -DIENE.

The determination of the boiling point was performed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.2 ''Boiling Temperature'' (May 2008) and OECD Guideline No 103 “Boiling Point” (July 1995).

The boiling range of 3,7-DIMETHYLOCTA-1,6-DIENE (batch FAB-11022018) should be stated at (160.0.2 - 167.6 +/- 0.1)°C or (433.1 - 440.8.0 +/- 0.1)K at 1013.25 hPa.

Boiling point: 154-159°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One reference from Handbook and one reference from experimental old study gave similar results. Therefore the range of boiling point given by both references was chosen to propose a Weight of Evidence for this data.
