Additional information

The flamability of liquids is assessed by reference to the flash point (Section 7.9). There is no indication on the basis of structure and experience in handling and the use that the substance is flammable in contact with air or water. Therefore, in accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be conducted

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is classified R11 (Highly Flammable) according to Directive 67/548/EEC and Flammable Liquid Category 2 (H225: Highly flammable liquid and vapour) according to Regulation 1272/2008. This is on the basis of a flash point of -28°C and a boiling point of 57°C.
