Description of key information
The biodegradability of e-Caprolactone was determined in a modified Sturm test (OECD 301B), using CO2 evolution as the parameter for measurement. The test substance can be classified as readily biodegradable.
Additional information
The test substance can be classified as readily biodegradable at a concentration of 10 mg/L, although due to the testing regime is was unclear whether the 10-day window criteria was reached. At a concentration of 20 mg/L the test substance inhibited the inoculum.
