An experimental study (CERI, 1998) carried out according to OECD guideline 301C (MITI I) reports a biodegradation, measured by oxygen demand, of 88% in 28days, well above the threshold of 60%. It is therefore concluded that the substance is readily biodegradable. Hence, other biodegradation endpoints are waived according to Reach: simulation in freshwater systems, sediment and soils.
