Additional information

The Environment Agency of Japan (1998) carried out a chronic toxicity test under semi-static conditions (renewal: 3 times a week) during 21 days. The exposure concentration was 100 mg/l and was measured by gas chromatography. The measured concentrations were 88.6 to 99.9% of the nominal concentration. Based on the nominal concentrations, the 21-day LC50 was determined to be superior to 100 mg/l. The no observed effect concentration (NOEC) was determined to be ≥ 100 mg/l.

The test report from the Environment Agency of Japan (1998) is not available. Yet, all the data were validated by the Japanese authorities within the OECD SIDS program and will be taken into account for the determination of the PNEC for the aquatic compartment.
