In water sodium acrylate dissociates into sodium- and acrylate-ions. Therefore, the assessment of the transport and distribution of sodium acrylate is based on acrylic acid. Adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected. From the water surface, the substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere. The Mackay Level 1 calculation showed that over time, the substance will be distributed into water.
