Results and discussion
Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)

In the screening test according to Grewer slow self-heating was observed at an onset temperature of 280°C. Above 400°C, strong self-heating was recorded leading to open fire.
Due to the results of the screening test no further testing is required.
Although the substance has not be classified as self-heating substance according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, for reasons of process safety (e.g. drying conditions during manufacturing process) a hot storage test using a 1 L mesh wire basket (260 g test item) was conducted at 200°C. After 2,2 hours the test item temperature was adapted to 200°C following by a temperature raise to the maximum temperature of 232°C afte further 57 min. Then, the test item cooled down to 200°C after about 8 hours and kept this temperature for the entire duration of the test (64 hours).
