Description of key information

Troclosene sodium is stable in chlorinated C1-3 hydrocarbon solvents such as carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride, chloroform, 1,1-dichlorethane, 1,2-dichloroethane, and propyl chloride. The read across substance sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate is stable in acetone, methanol, tetrahydrofuran and acetonitrile.

Additional information

Several patents and journal articles are available which provide information on the stability of troclosene sodium in a variety of organic solvents. Further supporting information is provided for the read across substances sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate and trichloroisocyanuric acid.
