Additional information

It was shown in a fish dietary bioaccumulation study with rainbow trout that BMDBM was taken up by fish feed resulting to a BMF which was far below 1. In addition the DT50 obtained for elimination of BMDBM from fish was 3.83 days.

According to ECHA on Endpoint specific guidance R.7c the BCF (5 % lipid) was calculated to be 1807 L/kg. These results indicate a low potential for bioaccumulation and biomagnification of BMDBM in rainbow trout.
