Additional information

It was shown in a fish dietary bioaccumulation study with rainbow trout that BMDBM was taken up by fish feed resulting to a BMF which was far below 1. In addition the DT-50 obtained for elimination of BMDBM from fish was 3.83 days.

According to ECHA on Endpoint specific guidance R.7c the BCF (5% lipid) was calculated to be 1807 L/kg. These results indicate a low potential for bioaccumulation and biomagnification of BMDBM in rainbow trout.
