Endpoint:
toxicity to soil microorganisms
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The study does not need to be conducted as the substance does not reach the soil compartment. In the technological process related to the use of the substance, the substance is mixed with resins (mainly isocyanates), resulting in a quantitative chemical reaction of the two starting materials, without leaving residual free amines in the reaction product. The substance is neither introduced to sewage treatment systems nor in the aquatic environment or a landfill site. All organic waste is incinerated.
