The adsorption coefficient (Koc) on soil and on sewage sludge using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was determined according to OECD test methods. Log Koc soil was determined to be 22.96 and log Koc. sewage sludge was estimated to be 24.61. The McCall classification of soil mobility potential classifies the substance as immobile in soil.
Koc has also been calculated using the computer program KOCWIN (v2.00). It is predicted that the test material has a log Koc in range 5.22 -7.83. According to the McCall classification scheme, this means that the above substance is again expected to be immobile (Koc > 5000) in soil.
