Description of key information

Long-term aquatic toxicity test on aquatic invertebrates was performed using the analogous substance isocyanuric acid (CAS no.: 108-80-5), that is a hydrolysis product of cyanuric acid. The Maximum non-observable effect concentration (NOECr) was determined to be 32.00 mg/L.

Long-term aquatic toxicity test (study 97-0704-FGO_en) on aquatic invertebrates was performed using the analogous substance isocyanuric acid (CAS no.: 108-80-5), that is a hydrolysis product of the hydrolysis of cyanuric acid.

- The 14 day 50% lethal concentration (LC50) for Daphnia Magna was determined to be 12.39 mg/L (95% confidence interval: 7.99 mg/L to 19.61 mg/L) (Probit method)

The 21 day 50 % lethal concentration (LC50) for Daphnia Magna was determined to be 9.55 mg/L (95% confidence interval: 6.22 mg/L to 14.52 mg/L) (Probit method)

- The 14 day 50% reproduction inhibition concentration (ErC50) for Daphnia Magna was determined to be 9.36 mg/L (95% confidence interval: 1.32 mg/L to 42.77 mg/L) (Probit method)

- The 21 day 50% reproduction inhibition concentration (ErC50) for Daphnia Magna was determined to be 65.86 mg/L (95% confidence interval: 54.47 mg/L to 82.70 mg/L) (Moving average method)

- Maximum non-observable effect concentration (NOECr) was determined to be 32.00 mg/L.
