Description of key information
The log Koc of the measured constituents(at equal or above 0.1% w/w) of sodium benzoate has been predicted using the EPISUITE v4.11 KOCWIN (2017) program, which uses methodology described by Sahljic et al., (1995) and Meylan et al. (1995). The predicted log Koc was 7.033 kg/L at neutral pH, 1.309 kg/L at pH 5.5 and 0.1194 kg/L at ph 7.4.
The koc of 7.033 was used as key value for the assessment because being the highest among them makes the reult more conservative.
