Based on the available data on its physical and chemical properties, potassic extracts is a solid with a melting/boiling point >401°C at standard pressure. The vapour pressure is expected to be negligible as the boiling point is very superior to 401°C. It has a pH slightly acid between 5,2 and 6,7.

It has a tap density between 1381 kg/m3 and 1851 kg/m3 at 20°C. The distribution of inhalable particles (<100µm) varies between 3 to 67%.

Besides, potassic extracts has been shown to be non flammable and then it has no auto-ignition temperature.

Based on its chemical structure and on the data on its 3 main constituents (K2SO4, Na2SO4 and CaSO4), it is NOT expected to be explosive nor to have oxidising properties.
