Description of key information

MDI mixed isomers is considered to be:

* Not flammable in contact with water

* not pyrophoric

Additional information

Two flammability tests were performed with the test substance. In the first test, flammability in contact with water was assessed according to EU method A.12 (Baker, 2010). The second test assessed the pyrophoric properties of the test substance according to EU method A.13 (Baker, 2010). The results of these tests were that the test substance is not flammable in contact with water and has no pyrophoric properties.
