Description of key information

4,4 -sulphonyldiphenol was assessed in two short-term toxicity studies to aquatic invertebrates according to OECD guideline 202. The lowest EC50 to Daphnides was determined to be 55 mg/L.

The toxicity on Daphnia magna was tested in two acute toxicity tests according to the OECD guideline 202 [Chen et al., 2001 and Ministry of the Environment in Japan, 2010]. The EC50 (48h) of 4,4 -sulphonyldiphenol was determined to be 55 mg/L and 100 mg/L.
