106 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
10.2 mg/L

Additional information

Two short-term studies regarding the toxicity of 4,4 -sulphonyldiphenol to green algae are available: In one study the toxicity on Desmodesmus subspicatus was tested according to the OECD guideline 201. The NOEC (72h) and ErC50 for

4,4 -sulphonyldiphenol based on the growth rate was determined to be 10.2 and 106 mg/L. Furthermore, in a publication, the 72 hour NOEC value and ErC50 was determined to be 4.6 mg/L and 65 mg/L in a growth inhibition test to green algae according to the OECD guideline 201.
