No data on sediment toxicity are available. The only available data refer to toxicity tests on sediment organisms which were only performed in water, therefore they can not used for assessment. However, since the physicochemical data indicate that DMP is not very adsorptive (log Koc = 1.57) or bioaccumulative (log Kow = 1.54), a relevant distribution into the sediment compartment and a considerable exposure of sediment organisms is not expected. Additionally the substance is readily biodegradable. Hence, information about effects on sediment organisms is not required.
