Due to the high water solubility of > 250 g/L, the vapor pressure of < 0.18 Pa at 20 ºC, and the adsorption potential, derived from the measured Koc-range of 316 to 8116 (log Koc 2.5 – 3.9), C12-18AS Na (CAS 68955-19-1) will mainly distribute into the water compartment. In water, sediment and soil the substance will rapidly biodegrade and therefore a prolonged exposure can be excluded.
