Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The available read across data and weight of evidence demonstrate that Hydrocarbons, C10-C13, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, aromatics (2 -25%) is highly unlikely to be carcinogenic and is not classifiable as a carcinogen.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Hydrocarbons, C10-C13, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, aromatics (2-25%) does not meet the criteria for classification as a carcinogen under the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP).

Additional information

The available read across data and available weight of evidence demonstrate that Hydrocarbons, C10-C13, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, aromatics (2 -25%) is highly unlikely to be carcinogenic and is not classifiable as a carcinogen. Further testing is not required under Annex XI, section 1.2.

No standard carcinogenicity studies are available for Hydrocarbons, C10-C13, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, aromatics (2-25%). However, with regard to the molecular structure of the substance, no carcinogenic potential is expected. Moreover, in investigations on read across mutagenicity (in vitro and in vivo) as well as in read across repeated dose toxicity studies (oral, dermal route, and via inhalation), neither genotoxicity nor an indication for neoplastic lesions was observed.
