Description of key information

According to various data coming from literature, Dibenzoyl Peroxide was found to melt over the range 103 to 108°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
106 °C

Additional information

No experimental data is available for the melting point of Dibenzoyl Peroxide. As the seven data coming from the literature are in the same range (between 103°C and 108°C) it is assumed to use these data (weight of evidence approach).
