Additional information

The study on Flash Point by BASF AG (1973) was not performed under GLP, however it has been conducted in compliance with accepted Guidelines (Abel-Pensky method). The flash point is reported to be 64 °C at 1013.0 hPa. The result is considered to be relevant, reliable with restrictions and adequate for classification, labelling and risk assessment purposes.

The flash point reported in the Kirk-Othmer encyclopedia 1993 was reported to be 67.2 °C and is supporting the robust study by BASF AG (1973).
