Description of key information

Magnesium carbonate has been determined not to be auto flammable.

Additional information

The key study for determination of the auto flammability of magnesium carbonate is a GLP study performed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, using Method N.4 of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, 4th revised edition, 2003 (Harlan Laboratories Ltd, 2010). A negative result was obtained which demonstrated that magnesium carbonate is not auto flammable.
