no
Remarks on result:
other: approx. maximum accuracy of melting point is ± 0.5 deg. K

Any other information on results incl. tables

No thermal events were seen to occur in the thermograms from -20°C to 20°C. Therefore, as confirmation, an aliquot of test material was stored overnight in an approximately -23 °C freezer and was found to not have frozen.

Thermograms: See attached MS word document titled 'Thermograms'.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The freezing temperature of the test material was determined to be less than 253 ± 0.5 deg. K.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the melting point of synthetic inositol phosphates by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) using the procedure specified in ASTM E537-86, EU Method A1 Melting/Freezing Temperature.

The freezing temperature of the test material was determined to be less than 253 ± 0.5 deg. K.
