Description of key information

Si/FeSi silicate in massive/particulate form is immobile in soil and sediments. Adsorption/desorption behaviour of dissolved Si/FeSi silicate constituents are governed mainly by inorganic soil and sediment materials. Each constituent behaves in a characteristic way and very much depending on local environmental conditions. Generally the adsorption of these constituents in organic materials is weak and adsorption in minerals is stronger and more pronounced.
