Description of key information

Nickel dihydroxide was determined to decompose from approximately 473 K (Harlan Labs, 2010). Column 2 of REACH Annex VII states that the study does not need to be conducted if the substance decomposed before boiling (e.g., decomposition). Accordingly, a complete study is not needed as prelimary work concluded Ni dihydroxide decomposes before changing states.
