Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
1 °C

Additional information

Measured flash point values of 1°C (closed-cup) and <79°C (open-cup) were determined for the substance in accordance with ASTM D56 and ASTM D92 respectively. Although full details are not available, the result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study. In available secondary sources to which reliability could not be assigned, flash point values of -9.4°C, -8°C, -7°C, -5°C, -3°C, <0°C and <21°C were reported for the substance.

Variations in flash points may result due to variations in the purity of the test substance and the method used. The key study is selected as the study with the highest reliability. All values are consistent with the substance being highly flammable.

The flash point of 1°C and a measured boiling point of 70.2°C, indicate that the substance should be classified as a highly flammable liquid according to the criteria of EC Regulation 1272/2008.
