Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Swallowing: Do not induce vomiting. Drink water in small sips. (Diluting effect) Obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Obtain medical attention.
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Rinse affected skin with copious amounts of water, using a mild cleaning agent. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.
Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Flash point: 290 °C
Hazardous combustion products: None.
Special fire fighting procedures: This material may produce a floating fire hazard.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Extinguishing media: dry powder (BC-powder), foam, carbon dioxide (in case of small fires), water
Unusual fire and explosion hazards: In case of a fire aside from the major combustion products carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide other harmful gases and vapors may be formed.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid contact with eyes and skin., Not expected to present a significant inhalation hazard under anticipated conditions of normal use.
Environmental precautions: Prevent from entering sewer system, surface water or soil., Disposal: see disposal considerations
Methods for cleaning up:
Large quantities: Dike spilled product with liquid absorbing material and pump off.
Small quantities: Soak up with liquid absorbing material (sand etc.) and dispose of as instructed.
Handling and storage
Handling precautions:
Use only in well ventilated areas., Keep container tightly closed., Maintain proper grounding at all times., Do not weld or flame-cut an empty drum.
Storage requirements:
Keep drums tightly closed to prevent contamination., Normal precautions common to safe manufacturing practice should be followed in handling and storage.

PERSONAL PROTECTION
Respiratory protection: None required in normal use.
Hand protection / protective gloves: Protective gloves, of PVC or rubber.
Eye protection: Safety glasses.
Skin protection: Rubber or plastic apron, Suitable arm protection if body contact is possible.
Industrial hygiene measures: Apply skin protection cream before handling., Immediately remove contaminated clothing.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS
Ventilation: General (mechanical) room ventilation is expected to be satisfactory for normal handling.
Stability and reactivity
Incompatible materials: Strong acids and Oxidizing agents.
Hazardous combustion products: None.
Disposal considerations
General: Dispose of in accordance with appropriate Federal, State, and local regulations., Burn in compliance with operative regulations in a hazardous waste incinerator.
Non-cleaned packages: Can be reused after cleaning., Dispose of washing solution in the same way as product.
