Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of 2-chloro-4-nitrotoluene to fish (brachydanio rerio) was determined in a static mortality test according to a national standard method (Verfahrensvorschlag F.1.1, des Umweltbundesamtes, 1982). After 96 hours of exposure a LC0 value of 34 mg/L and a LC100 value of 35 mg/L was optained,(Bayer, 1984).
