Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Relative self-ignition: Not relevant

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The requirement to conduct a relative self-ignition temperature for the submission substance is waived in accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, because the substance is a solid with melting point less than 160°C.

In addition, in a secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, relative self-ignition temperature of 1010°C at 101.3 kPa was reported for the substance. The reported result is well above the cut-off of 400°C above which testing is not considered necessary (REACH Annex VII, Column 2).
