Description of key information
There were no toxicity to soil microorganism studies available for sodium chloride.

Additional information
Since other terrestrial toxicity testing was available for sodium chloride, and since microorganisms were not particularly sensitive to sodium chloride in the aquatic environment, there is no need for further toxicity testing with microorganisms in the terrestrial environment. Therefore toxicity to soil microorganisms is waived for sodium chloride.
