Description of key information

log Koc > 5 (≙ KoC > 100000) [W.Kordel, FhG, IUCT, SCHMALLEMBERG,G. Gorlite, Hoechst AG, PEC-OKOLOGIE I, 08.04.1993: 2. Draft Guideline for testing of Chemicals: Screening method for the determination of the Adsorption-coefficient on Soil (KOC) (HPLC method); test item: structural analogue with EC 413-750-2]

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
100 000

Additional information

The log Koc of the structural analogue has been determined to be > 5 in a GLP study according to 2. draft guideline for testing of chemicals: screening method for the determination of the adsorption-coefficient on soil (KOC) (HPLC Method; W.Kordel, FhG, IUCT, SCHMALLEMBERG,G. Gorlite, Hoechst AG, PEC-OKOLOGIE I, 08.04.1993). Since EC 700-397-7 is a near analogue to the test substance (EC 413-750-2), the experimental data from this substance were used in a read-across approach.
