Description of key information

Data waived - Study scientifically not necessary / other information available. The study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties. Based on the composition of the test material the result for the explosive properties has been predicted negative. In addition, according to Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, determining the explosiveness of green nickel oxide is not necessary because it does not contain chemical groups associated with explosivity. Examples of such groups are C-C unsaturated, C-metal, N-metal, contiguous oxygen atoms, contiguous nitrogen atoms, N-halogens, O-halogens, N-O. Reported in Study report #2877-0006: Harlan Labs: Green Nickel oxide determination of hazardous physico-chemical properties. Study in 2009; Report November 20, 2009).
