EU Risk Assessment on the major component of C4 Hydrocarbons: 1,3-Butadiene:

The relative density (D204) of 1,3 -butadiene is quoted as 0.62 (BASF, Huls, Aver safety data sheets) and 0.6211 (consolidated IUCLID entry). A density of 0.65 g/cm3 is quoted at -6 °C (Merck Index 11th Edition, 1989 and consolidated IUCLID entry). The vapour density of 1,3 -butadiene is quated as 1.9 at 20 °C (air=1) (according to Kirk-Othmer, 1991)
