Description of key information

Data waived - Study scientifically not necessary / other information available.  The study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties.  Nickel is not an explosive substance, as reported in the EU Risk Assessment for nickel (2008-2009).  In addition, according to REACH Annex VII, determining the explosiveness of nickel is not necessary because it does not contain chemical groups associated with explosivity.
