Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test solutions

Details on test solutions:
TS showed a hydrolysis rate of less than 2.4 hours at pH 9 and 50°C. A structural analysis indicates that the test item is highly reactive and could form multiple
oxidation products. It was determined that a semi-static test should be conducted to include degradation products. As such, the test solutions were prepared 48 hours prior to the introduction of the test species and the test species were transferred to new test solutions (prepared 48 hours prior to use) every 24 hours. HPLC analysis of the test solutions indicated that the pattern of formation of the degradation products at the start of the test and at the end of the test was almost similar. As the measured concentrations of the test item in some of the groups was below the limit of quantification (LOQ = 10 ng/mL) and the concentration of the degradation products was not known, all results are reported based on the nominal concentrations of the test item.
