Biodegradation of neodecanoic acid can be expected to be slow because of the structures of the constituents of the substance, i.e. highly branched alkyl chains and quaternary carbon. This is confirmed by the available results for ready biodegradability  (11% biodegradation in 28 d). Neither the registered substance itself nor its potential degradation products are expected to be PBT/vPvB.
