Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Two valid GLP studies, conducted according to different, but both recognized methods, were provided.

The change of state occurs within a 50°C-interval, which can be explained by the UVCB nature of the test substance.

Both methods give consistent results for the melting range; however, the DSC method was conducted for confirmatory purposes for the b.p. measurement, and no precise determination of the melting temperature was done. Therefore, the capillary method was judged more accurate, and considered as the only key study. The DSC method is treated as a supporting study, but its results are not taken into account. The melting range and the end of the transition phase observed with the capillary method are retained as key data.

However, since this test has been performed on an UVCB substance, the result should be considered to be subject to slight variations.
