Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
A density of 0.989 g/cm³ at 20°C and a relative density of 0.989 were determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol. It was not conducted according to GLP.

Adequacy of study:
supporting study
Study period:
2011
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
results derived from a valid (Q)SAR model and falling into its applicability domain, with adequate and reliable documentation / justification
Justification for type of information:
QSAR prediction
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The result was obtained using an appropriate QSAR method (see attached QMRF and QPRF for details).

Conclusions:
A density value of 0.97 g/cm³ at 25°C was obtained for the substance using an appropriate calculation method. The result is considered to be reliable.

Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.989

Additional information

A relative density value of 0.989 at 20°C (1013 hPa) was determined using an oscillating densimeter according to OECD Guideline 109. This is supported by a predicted density of 0.97 g/cm³ at 25°C obtained for the substance using an appropriate calculation method. The result is considered to be reliable. Additional supporting values of 0.996 g/cm³ at 20°C and 0.99 g/cm³ at 25°C were obtained from secondary sources (company data), although the reliability of the data is unassignable. The supporting results are in good agreement with the key study.
