Description of key information

The substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effects.
NOEC (21d) = 2 µg/L and LOCE (21d) = 6.4 µg/L (measured, TWA) for Daphnia magna (OECD 211)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The long-term toxicity on aquatic invertebrates was investigated with the waterflea Daphnia magna, in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 211 [BASF SE, 2013]. Due to the low water solubility, a saturated solution of the test item was prepared. After an exposure of 21 days the NOEC was 2 µg/L and the LOEC was 6.4 µg/L based on reproduction (measured, TWA).
