Conclusion on classification

Acute and chronic toxicity studies are available for each of the trophic compartments : algae, aquatic invertebrates and fish. No toxicity was observed up to the highest achievable concentration during short-term and long-term toxicity testing on aquatic organisms.

1,3(or 1,4)-phenylenebis(1 -methylethylidene)]bis[tert-butyl] peroxide is not readily biodegradable (OECD 301D) and its log Kow was estimated at 7.3.

Taking into account these information, the substance 1,3(or 1,4)-phenylenebis(1-methylethylidene)]bis[tert-butyl] peroxide should not be classified for the environment according to CLP and GHS.
