Description of key information

In a 48 h acute toxicity study conducted according to OECD guideline 202, water fleas (Daphia magna) were exposed to the registered substance URACROSS ZW7672P, Product ID 021116/000. The 48h-EC50 was above the solubility limit of the test substance in test medium. The study is considered to be reliable without restrictions.

Additional information

In a 48 h acute toxicity study conducted according to OECD guideline 202, water fleas (Daphia magna) were exposed to the registered substance URACROSS ZW7672P, Product ID 021116/000 under static conditions at the following nominal concentrations: 0 (blank control), 1.0. 10 and 100 mg/L WAFs. Analysis of the samples taken from the WAF prepared at 100 mg/L at the start of the test showed measured concentrations of 1.0 mg/L in test medium. The measured concentration remained stable during the exposure (86% of initial). It should be noted that the maximum water solubility of the registered substance URACROSS ZW7672P, Product ID 021116/000 is < 8 μg/L. As no biologically significant immobilisation (i.e. >10%) was observed at any of the groups tested, the 48h-EC50 was above the solubility limit of the test substance in test medium. The study is considered to be reliable without restrictions.
