Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Monochloroacetone affected the growth of Pseudomonas putida. The IC50 was determinded to be 2.0 mg/L
Executive summary:

The inhibitory effect of monochloroacetone on the growth rate of Pseudomonas putida was examined in a DIN 38412 compliant test. After 16 hours the growth rate was determimed by measuring the degree of turbidity. The IC 50 was graphically estimated to be 2.0 mg/L.
