Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two different validated QSAR models agree that the substance is predicted to have a bioconcentration factor (BCF) in fish of BCF = 4.676 to 6 L/Kg (equals log BCF = 0.67 to 0.77).  The conservative result of 6 L/kg is taken forward as key value. The substance is not expected to bioaccumulate.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
6 L/kg ww

Additional information

Bioconcentration factors for the substance were estimated using two different validated QSAR models with the following results. The CAESAR model for bioconcentration factor (BCF) in fish returned the result BCF = 6 (L/Kg) whole body weight, log BCF = 0.77. The Estimation Programs Interface (EPI) Suite United States Environmental Protection Agency BCFBAF Program (v3.00) returned the result BCF = 4.676 (L/kg) wet-wt, log BCF = 0.670.
