Additional information

The key study, Atwal (2012), was performed to the standardised guideline EU Method A.10 and in line with GLP. The study was performed to a high standard sufficient to assess the quality of the conclusions presented. The study was therefore assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality as defined in Klimisch (1997). The study was therefore considered suitable for assessing the hazardous properties of the substance. Under the conditions of the test, the test substance was found to be non-flammable.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with the criteria outlined in regulation EC No. 1272.2008 (CLP) and directive 67/548/EEC (DSD), the substance does not meet the criteria for classification as flammable.
